QUALITY TECHNICIAN – 2ND SHIFT

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support our 2nd shift Casting operations. In this role, you’ll be the primary quality resource on the production floor—helping solve problems, guiding team members, and ensuring our processes meet internal and customer expectations.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the go-to quality contact on the production floor.
• Support the launch and development of new programs, including control plans, PFMEAs, process flows, inspection standards, and capability studies.
• Create and update quality documents, including instructions, gaging methods, preventative actions, and temporary deviations.
• Train team members on quality standards, inspection techniques, customer requirements, and proper use of measurement tools.
• Make data-driven decisions and assist others in understanding quality results and requirements.
• Participate in cross-functional problem-solving teams using root-cause analysis tools (5 Why, cause & effect, defect recreation, etc.).
• Conduct routine audits, final inspections, and off-line checks to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Stop production when necessary to prevent non-conforming product from reaching the customer.

What You Bring

• High school diploma required
• 1+ year of related quality or manufacturing experience
• Completion (or willingness to complete) training in Blueprint Reading, SPC, and Measurement Tools for Quality Control
• Strong attention to detail, solid decision-making skills, and the ability to communicate quality expectations clearly
